Dexter Jagula, MSS 2008



Dexter is a Technical Consultant, specializing in software development and business intelligence at Thoughtcorp, an IT consulting firm based in Toronto. He has been working in various roles within the IT sector as both a project manager and lead consultant for the last few years.

Dexter graduated with a Master’s of Space Studies from the International Space University in 2008, where his personal focus was on planetary robotics. As part of his degree, he conducted his internship at the German Aerospace Center, DRL, where he worked as a Software Application Developer within DLR’s Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics. There he developed a software tool for preliminary design for planetary rovers.

Prior to attending ISU, Dexter graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree in Software Engineering, with a concentration in telecommunications and networking. Dexter maintains an active interest within the space sector by being involved with a few space-focused organizations such as OpenLuna Foundation.

During his spare-time, Dexter enjoys traveling, SCUBA diving, playing sports and working-out, and playing guitar and singing. He also enjoys keeping up-to-date with the space industry and is open to being involved with any organizations that provide such opportunities.
