Agenda

Agenda

The workshop will take two parts. The morning will consist of three guest lectures, each of which will focus on a different aspect of Canadian accomplishments. These could be Canadian achievements and ingenuity in space, Canada's future in space, Canada's involvement in space science and the space station or the benefits and impacts of Canadian involvement. The speaker will take questions and possibly form discussion at the conclusion of their presentation. Between each of the guest lectures, networking opportunities have been scheduled as apart of three scheduled breaks.

During the afternoon component of the workshop, participants will break into smaller interest related groups. The groups will focus on topics relating to key Canadian efforts, possibly including space medicine, space science (astronomy, exploration or atmospheric science) and engineering. It will be left to the teams to discuss the positive and negative aspects of Canadian involvement in these areas and how to best leverage current ability towards future success. (please note: each of the teams foci and objective for the afternoon portion of the workshop have yet to be finalized)
